Level 3 Diploma in Customer Service
Provides the skills required for job roles with responsibility for improving standards of customer care. Boosts competence in providing excellent service to customers. Consists of mandatory units and choice of optional units depending on the apprentice’s job role.
Organising and delivering customer service; understand the customer service environment; understanding customers and customer retention; resolving customers’ problems; appreciating the principals of business; managing personal and professional development.
Collaborating with other departments; managing team performance; sales techniques; understanding staffing schedules and developing a social media strategy for customer service.
• Apprentices are employed and receive a wage
• Training is a mix of practice on-the-job, and off-the-job training during which a portfolio of evidence will be assessed
Costs and funding
This apprenticeship costs £2000. The costs of training and assessment are usually paid for by the government with contributions by the employer. The course can also be paid for privately or using an advanced learning loan.
