The EPA will be completed in a three-month period, beginning when the EPAO confirms that all gateway requirements have been met. At the gateway, any supporting documentation that supports an EPA assessment technique must be submitted.
- Evaluative Report – The Project or campaign evaluation report will showcase a project the apprentice has contributed to, and developed content for, in the last 6 months leading to the gateway. The apprentice may have worked as part of a team to complete the pre-gateway project which could include technical, internal, or external support. However, the evaluative report output must be the apprentice’s own work and reflective of their own role and contribution.
- Presentation of additional/new content with question – The apprentice must prepare and conduct a presentation of their evaluative report to an independent assessor. The presentation should build on the evaluative report created by the apprentice. They will then be asked a series of questions based on this.
