Did you know your son/daughter is now required to remain in full time education and/or training until they are 18?

As an established training provider with more than 20 years experience Mode can support parents to make the right decision with their son/daughter to ensure an effective transition from school to the world of work.

We specialise in employability, hairdressing, barbering, music technology, business administration and customer service qualifications.

There are many options available to young people after they leave school. Our current offer is outlined below:

Apprenticeship

An apprenticeship is a genuine job, with training, meaning you can earn while you learn and gain a nationally recognised qualification. Mode work with more than 75 employers across Liverpool City Region delivering apprenticeships in Hairdressing. Barbering, Management, Business Administration and Customer Service.

Mode success rates are consistently above the national average across all our programmes and more than 90% remain in employment following completion of their apprenticeship.

Apprentices under the age of 19 are paid a minimum of £4.15 per hour

Apprentices are entitled to the minimum wage for their age if they both:

  • Are aged 19 or over
  • Have completed the first year of their apprenticeship
