Music Technology alternative provision can be delivered either on-site or at our centre in The Secret Warehouse. The number of days will be agreed at the outset with the school and our experienced team.
Level 1 Music Technology
Depending on hours of attendance will determine if full qualification will be achieved. Units will include:
- Health and safety in the studio
- DJ/Performance skills
- Creating mash-ups and mixes using Ableton
- Planning for a career in the music industry
- Marketing and promotion including digital marketing
GCSE Music
DJ decks are now officially recognised as a formal instrument by examination boards. This has led to a rise in the number of students who are interested in GCSE music.
Our industry specialised music technology tutors are best placed to deliver the performance element of the GCSE in schools.
Tutors can attend schools to deliver the performance element of the GCSE, or, if preferred, pupils can attend Mode.
