The digital skills bootcamp for self-employed is aimed at small business owners/self-employed. Looking to grow their social presence. Whilst, ensuring they have the digital skills required to promote their business and increase their business sales.

Having a clear digital marketing strategy enables small businesses to keep ahead of their competitors. Firstly, by providing clients with access to services 24:7. And furthermore, by providing you with the opportunity to generate passive income.
Having a clear offer and knowing which digital marketing platforms meet the needs of your business can be key to your business growth.
Course length
The course is delivered for 10 weeks online and consists of blended tutor-led sessions delivered online 1 day per week or as 2 half day sessions. Learners can choose either a morning session or evening session to suit their busy schedules.
Learners are also given online self-learning resources in the form of videos and workbooks to support the tutor-led sessions.
Course content
The course covers all aspects of digital marketing including:
- Using the internet safely and effectively
- Introduction to digital marketing
- Digital marketing strategy
- E shot marketing
- Tik Tok, Facebook, Instagram, X and Linkedln
- Importance of engaging content and SEO
- Photography, video editing, lighting and sound
Funding and eligibility
This course is funded by the Department of Education through Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, Skills Bootcamp funding.
You must be over the age of 19, self employed and a Liverpool City Region resident. And importantly, commited to improving your digital skills
Progression
On completion of your course you can progress to higher level digital marketing courses.
