Ready to take your hairdressing skills to the next level? Our Level 3 Advanced and Creative Hairdressing Apprenticeship is perfect for those who want to push their creativity, master advanced techniques, and stand out in the hairdressing world.

Employed in a salon

You’ll be working as an apprentice in a local salon, learning from experienced stylists while getting paid. Plus, you’ll come into college one day a week to develop your skills even further. Your assessor will also pop into your salon regularly to check how you’re getting on and support your progress.

Entry requirements

  • You need to be 16 or over
  • You’ll already have a Level 2 Hairdressing qualification or plenty of salon experience

Course length

  • Between 12 to 18 months, depending on your experience

Once you’ve finished, you’ll be ready for your End Point Assessment — the final step to becoming a fully qualified advanced hairdresser.

End Point Assessment  EPA 

Once you have completed your on programme elements, you will enter the gateway in preparation for your End Point Assessment.

Costs and funding

Course costs £5,000. The costs of training and assessment are usually paid for by government funding, with contributions from the employer. The course can also be paid for privately.
