Back by popular demand

We are thrilled to announce our Annual Celebration of Achievement is back by popular demand. The event will take place on Wednesday, 26th April  2023, at the amazing Invisible Wind Factory.

Doors open at 6.00 pm, with the first competition starting at 6.45 pm. The event will be an extravaganza of creative talent, hairdressing, makeup and DJ Skills.

Competitions and awards will take place throughout the evening, including learner and employer of the year awards with some fantastic prizes.

Sustainability Theme

This years overall theme is sustainability, with categories including “Life below water” and “Recyclyling”. Staff will deliver planning sessions leading up to the event. The sessions will not only prepare learners for the competition but also educate them on the importance of sustainable development.

Showcasing their creative talents

Hairdressing apprentices and make up learners will showcase their technical skills following a set criteria. With each one letting their creative talents loose on their model. With DJ and music technology learners providing the music for the event.

Back after a 10 year break, this years Annual Celebration of Achievement promises to be one really not to be missed. Throughout the night Mode DJ’s past and present will be providing the music. And there will be a special guest appearance by local talent Neil Noa
